Composite / Vinyl decking still needs to be cleaned, just not cleaned and sealed (stained or painted) like pressure treated wood decking does.

How often you need to paint / stain your deck depends on the paint or stain.  It has been our experience that people generally stain their decks every 3 years -ish.

Generally speaking, the amount you spend on your project can be linked to how long you anticipate being in your home.

We would be happy to go over different options with you.  We work with many different manufacturers, all with their own varying pricing.  

All of our decks are built to back up any known composite warranties, so if you opt for a pressure treated wood deck now, we should still be able to switch you over to a composite deck if you change your mind in the future.
